NEUCHATEL – AIX les BAINS 325 km

The Jura, both wild and massive, will be leading us to another lake, maybe smaller but nestling in surrealistic landscapes, in a wonderful mixture of grandeur and delicate detail..

In the afternoon, our procession will be driving up and down, jumping from one pass to the next one and ending up right in the centre of Aix les Bains to arrive in time for dinner in the beautifully preserved baroque casino.

Wednesday September 21st 2005 :
AIX les BAINS – SAINT TROPEZ 525 km

The “marathon” stage … interrupted with a brief interlude for a quick light lunch prior to cruising through some of
the most beautiful passes in the Alps, before heading along the « Route Napoleon » leading us into the Var via Plan de la Tour and its renowned « special stage ».

A long liaison stage enlightened with a couple of « RTs » : we’ll get pretty late to Saint Tropez for dinner !

But the competitors will be rewarded when discovering their wonderful bedrooms at the luxury Château Hôtel de la Messardière***** for a well-earned rest.
